“First of all, and I know it sounds like bragging, we were never worried about any competition,” he said. “We knew we had an audience to serve. The same way we’ve done an incredible job with our fintech products, we could do the same with gadgets. In a country where fake products and unreliable deliveries are all too common, there was a real need to fill, and we were certain we could provide value to the audience whose loyalty we already bragged about.”

Speaking of our users, Operations Manager Timi often recounts customer experiences to illustrate how the platform comes alive in real life. 

Like the time a young man ordered a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, but things went south when he reached out to complain; he was expecting the Standard Edition with the disc drive.

We figured that this was a case of a user skipping past the product description (and we see this occasionally), but we also hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to customer satisfaction. 

What we did was walk our Tonik through the differences patiently, explaining the other option compared to what they had picked. And when it was over, all the tension had melted, and he felt confident and better informed. All was well with the world again!
